Meet Levi: Our Robot From the 2024
Season

Levi's chassis size was 17.5 inches by 13.75 inches, he had a linear slide

that helped him lift his arm up to hang and also deliver samples. At the end

of the arm, he had a rectangular prism shaped intake/outtake that could

rotate which would allow him to pick up and deliver samples. He also had

LED eyes that covered up gears. Another important thing was the

spring-loaded gripper that could go up and down that would allow him to

pick up and deliver specimens. We gave him the name Levi because the

theme of the season was underwater, and leviathans are mythical

creatures that live in the deep depths in the ocean. Since are season was

underwater themed and leviathans lived in the depths of the ocean. So, we

decided to name our robot Levi.
